Ladybeard and KFC team up for wacky sauce music video

Chicken Sauce Showdown

Wacky food commercials are considered to be a tradition in Japan, and we never cease to be surprised of what them crazy people in the far east will think of next. Well, KFC Japan just thought of something that will make you as hungry as you are confused. Their latest commercial is all about sauce on their chicken, or tare, which means sauce in Japanese and this ad campaign is about "taressence" and random stuff happens in the commercial.

The 80's styled commercial, complete with VHS styled visual filter, is all about a man on a quest for the special sauce (I think), and it leads him across the world and a magic man appears, who is known as "old man in sailor suit" if you search on google. Then a showdown of two factions representing the sauces happens, with one represented by Ladybeard, and the other represented by cat ear wearing ninja girl with ninjas wearing frilly maid aprons. I don't exactly know what's going on but all I know is that I am now hungry.

Prominently starring in this campaign is the bearded crossdressing personality, Ladybeard, formerly of the music group Ladybaby, who is now trying to sell you one of the delicious looking fried chicken covered in sauce. Just watch the video below, and again I remind you all that that before watching this video, I am not responsible for any damage to property or bodily harm caused by not being able to eat these foods right this moment.

Now is the part of this article where I demand that KFC USA brings these menu items over because I would have more money for chicken if I don't spend it on a plane ticket to Japan. Give it to me, Colonel!
