Let's Chromatize: Chroma Squad heads to home consoles next year

It's time for some colorful explosions

It may have taken a while, but the gang at Behold Studios are now closer to helping Chroma Squad achieve its new form on the home consoles. Thanks to the help of Bandai Namco, the game will morph its way to the PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita, iOS and Android in the Americas in early 2017.

While Chroma Squad's release dealt with some rough scenarios, the game was still one of my favorite titles of 2015. In fact, the game's story about a stunt team quitting their tokusatsu studio to make their own hero shows and its references to the medium were a great combination that can make many fans of Power Rangers and/or all forms of toku smile.

Of course, I'm getting ready to strike a dynamic victory pose since more people will now get to help their custom team create the best Super Sentai/Power Rangers-inspired show ever. Who knows, this new release might lead to the team completing the rest of the game's content, such as new game plus, the episode editor and the multiplayer mode. For now, I'm just glad the Behold were able to achieve one of their goals for Chroma Squad.
