Licensing GET: Viz obtains Fragments of Horror

Summer is about to get spooky

Christmas may be around the corner, but isn't stopping Viz Media from making a scary announcement. In regard to this news, the company has announced that they've licensed Junji Ito's (Uzumaki, GyoFragments of Horror manga, which hits North America in Summer 2015. I guess this means that Halloween might have some competition next year.

Instead of focusing on one terrifying story, Fragments of Horrors focuses on various tales that involve creepy wooden mansions, dissection classes, and bizarre funerals. Considering that short horror mediums tend to be good at frightening people, I'm certain that Viz's upcoming Junjo Ito manga'll make a few readers jump here and there.

Since we have a long way to go before Summer returns, I might pick up Uzumaki and/or Gyo by then. Interestingly, this might be the first time that I pick up a manga that'll strike fear into my heart, so I'm definitely looking forward to that experience.
