Linkin Park streaming from Nicofarre on September 9th

Popular rock band Linkin Park will be performing the last show of their "A Thousand Suns" tour in the Tokyo club Nicofarre. Unlike previous fixtures in the tour, this show is set to debut remixes of songs from their latest album. Now of course, that itself is hardly a news story, but they have in fact collaborated with the Good Smile Company to raise funds for the ongoing relief required after the great Touhoku earthquake.

Nicofarre itself is a club owned by popular video site Nico Nico Douga, which means that the gig will be streamed live and worldwide for those that wish to watch. Furthermore, Linkin Park have promised to put on an "art show like never before", which is particularly interesting given the unique feature of Nicofarre. The club has five large LED screens built onto the walls and ceiling, allowing videos and comments from the video site to be streamed around those inside. Fan of Linkin Park or not, you have to admit that it will make for one extraordinary concert!

Hit the jump for a video about Nicofarre that is seemingly voiced by the narrator of Kaiji, so that must be a bonus.
