Love Plus minigames promise to slim plus-size players

In what is doubtless a depressingly realistic simulation of actual relationships, Love Plus has its players doing some rather embarrassing things - such as whispering "I love you" into their DS' microphones - to keep the love of their virtual, cartridge-bound girlfriends.

That's not going to change too much with the advent of Love Plus+, the planned mega-expansion due sometime this summer, but new reveals on some of the game's added features hint that Rinko, Nene and Manaka may actually encourage their boyfriends to do something good for themselves, in this case getting fit.

A minigame available within Love Plus+ is apparently called "Love Fitness", wherein players can get into customized routines with their virtual girlfriends, including push-ups, sit-ups, and stretching, with accompanying special event art and encouragement. Think Training with Hinako, but with the fantastic artwork of Mino Taro instead.

A port of Konami's Taisen Puzzle Dama game is also available, featuring the Love Plus girls as well as characters from Rumble Roses and Quiz Magic Academy. But seriously, it's about having hot sweaty exercise with Rinko.
