Lynn and the Spirits of Inao gives off a nice Spirited Away and Castlevania vibe

Ghiblivania anyone?

I'm going to be honest with everyone on here: I'm a really huge sucker for games that look like a beautiful illustration. From Vanillaware's titles to stuff like Indivisible, I can't help to want these things inside of me.

Since the Kickstarter of French Indie Team Bloomlight Studio's first game, Lynn and the Spirits of Inao, fall into this category, as the group's inspirations from Miyazaki's films and classic games complement their project. The neat thing about the title is the Main Character Lynn's ability to switch between day and night at will since it can change the environment's design.

With Lynn's partner being a tiny demon called Aku, I'm hoping that his role as a guide will make him an entertaining character while they do their best to send each spirit to the other side. Combined with Lynn's platforming skills and ability to wield various weapons (such as swords and bombs), the game sports a few aspects that remind me of an old school Castlevania title.

Bloomlight's goal for making Lynn a reality is $65,774, which they're using to improve the game, add more music to it, hire a new programmer, cover business costs and living cost, as the gang has been working on the title for a good while.

Thanks to the game's art and features, Lynn and the Spirits of Inao has the potential to evolve into a great title. That being said, I'd like to wish the group the best in hitting their main goal since I looking forward to seeing how their project will grow later on.

At the moment, the game is being made for PC, but they might release it on other systems if they meet their stretch goals. If you're interested in learning more about the game, you can check out the group's Kickstarter page.
