Madoka Magica Rebellion heading to a theater near you

Well, most of you any way.

Aniplex have announced that Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie –Rebellion- will be premiering in Los Angeles, at the Eqyptian Theater on on December 3rd, followed by showings at select theaters across the US and Canada through out the rest of the month. The film picks up where the previous installment, Eternal left off with the universe having been rewritten. Homura finds herself alone, with no Madoka in sight. Will the two ever reunite? I guess you'll have to catch the premiere to find out.

Tickets are already on sale for the December 3rd premiere, where they'll be offering some special merchandise for sale. While they haven't announced any plans to sell the merchandise outside the premiere event, ticket holders at US and Canadian showings will be given a free mini-autograph board while supplies last. That's something, at least.
