McDonald's Anime Commercial makes minimum wage look fun

I'm lovin' this Commercial

McDona'd's isn't doing so hot lately in the US but I think they are doing better in Japan with interesting gimmicks that has captured the attention of the public such french fries drizzled with chocolate. Weird food was one thing I thought they would do but I never thought they would get a short anime commercial made for promotion of their hiring.

But this isn't just to attract applicants for McDonald's locations, the voice talent they hired for this short anime production are members of female idol group AKB48. Playing the older and more experienced senpai in the video is Yui Yokoyama, while the new employee is played by Okabe Rin.

The anime short shows us the journey of the young newbie to becoming the more experienced senpai and all the things they experience on the job. Animation looks good and simple, despite not being the most fluid looking but it's a short commercial and not a show. Just take a look at the video below. One thing they forgot to include are irate and horrible customers.

Take a look at the website for more details that I am unable to read because I didn't finish beginning Japanese last year.
