Moonlight Butterfly: Right Stuf to release Turn A Gundam on Blu-ray

0

DVD owners are in for a sweet deal

Right Stuf has been on a good roll with their plan to release the older Gundam titles on Blu-ray. During their Otakon '16, the company mentioned that Turn A Gundam is getting the Blu-ray treatment next year. For those who bought the show's two DVD sets, there's also an option that'll benefit these owners.

According to Minovsky, Right Stuf will allow the folks who own Turn A Gundam on DVD to partake in an exchange program. Overall, it's great that they're implementing this plan since it'll allow for those owners to obtain the best quality version of the series without having to double dip.

While I found Turn A to be an alright series, it's great to see that its previous release did well enough for Right Stuf to release it on Blu-ray. At the same time, it's playing a role in the Sunrise x Right Stuf plan to bring more Gundam titles to North America; thus increasing the chances of them releasing every installment in the region.

While we're on the topic of Blu-ray releases of previously released titles, Right Stuf also announced that the previously announced Martian Successor Nadesico and the Sci-fi Comedy Series Galaxy Angel's Blu-ray sets hit North America next year. Just like the former's previous release, it'll come with the Prince of Darkness film and the Gekiganger 3 OVA. Of course, both titles will come with their original English dubs and Japanese audio.

As an owner of ADV's Nadesico release, my temptation to double dip on the series has gone up since I never got the chance to view the Gekiganger 3 OVA that focuses on the series' show within a show. Anyway, are you all looking forward to owning Turn A Gundam, Galaxy Angel and/or Nadesico on Blu-ray?
