Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4's first trailer gets straight to the end

More particles, more ninjas, more QTE madness

The Valley of the End, that is, which, if you're unfamiliar with Naruto history, is a big ol' waterfall created by the final battle between ninja historical figures Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju. The location features two giant-size statues of the combatants doing that ninja thing where they hold up their fingers, and just so happens to be the place where most of the important moments in Naruto history happen.

Speaking of which, that's the very subject of Bandai Namco's first trailer for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, the first of Cyberconnect2's epic ninja battlers to make it to the current generation of consoles. They've chosen to showcase the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and modern PCs with a rendition of Hashirama and Madara's big fight, complete with Susano'o-clad Nine-Tails and a Thousand-Armed wooden giant. Giant monsters, big punches, and plenty of particle effects abound.

The game's scheduled for a 2015 release, which should hopefully give Cyberconnect2 some time to shore up the framerate, which seems to dip in spots. After all, only at a solid 60 can we do what the trailer says and "Go Beyond Anime Expression", whatever that means.
