New Code Geass definitely doesn't have clone Lelouches

Last year Sunrise decided to milk the Code Geass goat a little bit more by announcing a project set within the Code Geass world, Code Geass Gaiden:Boukoku no Akito. The series, a side-story to the larger Code Geass franchise, follows Akito of the "ruined nation," set in Europe.

Well, the February issue of Newtype magazine has a few new details for all of you: character art! While we don't have scans available yet, you can check out some of the shots over at Moetron, who have small-sized versions of what the character art will look like.

Other than that, there's not much more information. Japan's great about revealing this stuff piecemeal to us.

A lot of you guys seemed divided when we first talked about this series, but with the show being set in a realm completely separate and apart from where the main Code Geass plot took place, do you think this will open up to be something ultimately interesting, or just a cheap shot for more money.

Also, some Lulu x Spinzaku work for all you girls to enjoy.
