New long-form Detroit Metal City trailer

0

You can rest assured that, as long as I'm around, none of the promotion for the forthcoming live-action death metal film Detroit Metal City will go unreported.

Up above there we've got a new(ish) trailer for the film. In it we get a better look at many of the characters, including the aforementioned Gene Simmons (of KISS) in full rock-god garb. There's also a glimpse of the general tone of the film, which looks to be totally crazy/funny/stupid/awesome, just like any self-respecting rock movie should. Other highlights include a tiny little rock and roll girl and the ending songs with the lyrics "fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck" etc.

The film, about an unassuming folk-music dude (plated by Kenichi Matsuyama of Death Note and Sexy Voice and Robo) turned into an over-the-top death metal god, will hit theatres August 23rd. You can expect a review as soon as I can get my mitts on it.
