New Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story announced

First entry in series in the last 11 years

In the last couple of years, the only two types of Mobile Suit Gundam games I've seen come out are either part of the Musou series or of the Extreme variety. You're either crushing a ton of chump units in space or you're duking it out in an 3D arcade battle. While both options are solid, Namco Bandai may have been feeling the need to mix things up, as they announced a new entry in the Side Story series.

Titled Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link, it'll be set during the One Year War like the other entries in the Side Story series. A preview from Famitsu shows off a couple of screen shots and reveals some gameplay details. It's a third-person action game, you'll be advancing on locals in squads of three and be able to freely switch out the lead mobile suit. Besides that, the only other information give was that it'll be on Playstation 3. When we get any more info, we'll be sure to let you know!
