No more assembly for Daibadi's new Aegis figure

Now you can worship with me!

It's no secret that I've selected Persona 3 android Aegis as my very own 2D bride, so I'm naturally curious whenever news comes down the pipe of model-makers attempting to immortalize my beloved in the fine art of sculpture.

Now, our figure-loving pals at Tomopop have revealed the latest work from Daibadi, a skilled supplicant at the shrine of Aegis. Responsible for a number of hot "garage kit" assemblies as the one-man modelling circle "Dimension Diver", Daibadi's pulled an unusual move and "gone indie", starting his own production company and creating a pre-assembled, pre-painted take on one of his Aegis kits.

That's a smart move to reach the broader market, given that garage kits require more skill and dedication to bring to fruition than your average "spouse" possesses. His new Aegis figure looks quite a bit like a Figma, though it seems more vibrant and has a less creepy face. I like it, because my bride does not have a creepy face!

You can get yours online, but be prepared to wait a while yet: The first preorders are scheduled for a May 2014 fulfillment.
