Nobunaga the Fool is looking like a good time

Angst, robots, and swords

I was getting worried about what anime I would be watching this Winter season. For some reason nothing was really lining up with my tastes, until my buddy Jeff Chuang mentioned that Macross's Shoji Kawamori was behind the upcoming, Nobunaga the Fool. As you might have guessed I jumped on top of the show immediately!

I actually don't know too much about the Satelight show, and The Fool francise in general, but I'm looking forward to finding out more! The starring voice actors; Marmoru Miyano. Yoko Hikasa, Yuki Kaju, and Takahiro Sakurai give us all short introduction to their roles in the show, followed by an exciting look at the show. Fast forward to the 2:21 mark if you're not into being patient today.

Well, the show seems to dabble in Asian and European history, with a fair mix of fantasy and mecha mixed it. There looks to be empires fighting, lots of yelling, and people all around acting a fool! You can be sure I'm excited for the January 5th release. Make sure to check in for my First Impressions soon after the initial episode airs.
