Optimus Prime rocks Brooklyn

Look at this sh*t!

He might not be able to transform and roll out, but the Brooklyn Optimus Prime is still an impressive cosplay feat. The creation of Peter Kokis, this sweet exoskeleton is incredibly made from ordinary household and hardware items, including but not limited to: toothbrush holders, dish drain basin parts, a baby's pacifier, smoke dectector mounts, ab exercise wheels, and trash cans. To take all these ordinary materials and combine them over 275 hours into something that bada*s is nothing short of a miracle, but these pictures don't lie.

We've included some pictures of Brooklyn Optimus Prime defending justice at the 2010 Coney Island Mermaid Parade in the gallery below, but there are plenty more to see on the official website. I wish I had something this cool to wear around town, as I'm sure all the ladies would be up on that. They'd know that I had the touch and that I had the power, if you catch my drift.
