Persona 2 Eternal Punishment's first trailer is relieving

Madhouse's animation for Eternal Punishment is taking form in the first trailer shown. I see nothing punishing about the game's first footage, all I see is animation that brings relief to any Persona fan.

Persona 2 Eternal Punishment should be out in Japan on May 17, and there will be a soundtrack available for those who get the game (I estimate a Summer or Fall release for the west, maybe.). Which sounds like another sweet deal that Atlus is pulling off. I find it very generous of them to also add an extra story with the protagonist from Innocent Sin, which will be a great addition for both newcomers and veterans alike.

I think that the best part of this is going to be not having to worry about spending huge bucks on the original Playstation 1 version. I mean, just look at the prices that it goes for online. It's a good thing that we will have the chance to obtain this game at a more affordable price. Granting players the ability to play it on the go is also a plus.

So how does it feel to have the opportunity to own every Persona game on one handheld system? I bet it feels wonderful, and it will be a fantastic experience for those who decide to play all the games in the proper order.

Take a look below to witness the final piece in the Persona series.
