Persona 5 and others announced for NA

It's a Persona party

Atlus has gone and done it.

In one fell swoop, they went and announced that Persona 5 (PS3), Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (3DS), Persona 4: Dancing all Night (Vita), and  Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3/360) will all be getting English language releases in North America. None of this is particularly surprising, but I know a whole lot of people have been waiting for this news. Are you happy now?

Persona 5 and Dancing All Night are currently scheduled to cross the ocean sometime in 2015,while Persona Q and Arena Ultimax will be hitting this fall. Some of these dates are a little bit far out, but I don't think anyone was expecting all of these games to hit in 2014.

For those of you not in the know, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is a crossover featuring the cast of both P3 and P4, done up in the style of Atlus' Etrian Odyssey games. Dungeon exploring, first person battles, and a huge pool of playable characters are the order of the day here. Persona 4: Dancing All Night is a rhythm game in which Narukami, the protagonist of P4, dances to some chill beats in order to fell some Shadows. It's being co-developed by Dingo, the developers of the first Hatsune Miku Project Diva game. Persona 4 Arena Climax is the sequel to Arena, a 2D fighting game designed by Arc System Works.

Last but certainly not least is Persona 5, the big one. Details are still thin, but its comforting to see Atlus finally talking about it out in the open.

Atlus sent us a whole bunch of screenshots and trailers for the games, so feel free to check those out below and bask in all the glory.
