Pokémon Bank has appeared in Europe

And about time, too.

You know, after months of watching fans of Pokémon X&Y eagerly awaiting the release of Pokémon Bank, it seems extremely odd that it would end up on the European eShop without any kind of grand announcement. Instead, it was discovered by fans who just happened to be browsing the online store, and the news has since spread around the net like wildfire.

If you're in Europe, Australia or New Zealand, you can download Pokémon Bank now and get a free trial that lasts until March 14th, with a year subscription costing you €4.99/£4.49 after that. You'll also net yourself a Celebi for the trouble.

While Europe are importing swathes of old monsters, you can expect Nintendo of America to prepare some kind of announcement regarding the US release. I say this with bated breath, as you might just want to keep an eye on the eShop if they copy the European approach.
