Pokémon Red and Blue music reorchestrated, released

Kanto Symphony: Now available on iTunes and from Joypad Records

Our sister site Destructoid reports that not only is there a Pokémon Reorchestrated album called Kanto Symphony based on the music from Pokémon Red and Blue, but the album is already available to purchase via iTunes or directly from Joypad Records!

This is exciting news, as I'm a fan of all this orchestrated or re-orchestrated game-related albums and tours cropping up recently thanks to the efforts of various different groups. I've had the good fortune of attending both Distant Worlds and the still touring Symphony of the Goddesses (Here's Dtoid's review on that one, and if you're interested, my own thoughts are right here), and have enjoyed them immensely. I saw people at both shows moved to tears.

Kanto Symphony features 35 tracks in 78 minutes and is for sale for only US$9.99. It's surely a triumph for Braxton Burks who worked hard to get the licensing and is also the force behind Zelda Reorchestrated (Twilight Symphony).
