Pokemon Bank finally up for North America

After five weeks of delays, the Pokemon Bank is finally live for those in North America. Readers may remember how the Pokemon Bank crashed Nintendo servers when it went live in Japan, necessitating a delay in other regions until those issues could be solved. After a slow rollout across Asia, Europe and Australia in the last several days, the cloud service is finally available on the 3DS eShop for those in the US and Canada. As for the actual process of bringing over your old Pokemon, the process is a bit convoluted. Jordan over at Destructoid covered the entire process, so if you need help I'd recommend checking out his quick guide.

While I may not have any old Pokemon to transfer over, I'm glad that the Bank is finally up. Besides getting a free Celebi, now people shouldn't be asking for ridiculous trades for older beasties. There'll finally be some stability within the PokeEconomy!
