Recently reunited; Do As Infinity already releasing a new album

Having finally reunited at the tail end of last year, Do As Infinity recently released their first single, "Infinity," since their break up in 2005. Shortly after that, they announced plans for their new album, entitled Eternal Flame. Many of you may remember them from Inu Yasha and their contribution to the Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust soundtrack in Japan.

Scheduled to be released on September 30th, two versions of Eternal Flame are currently planned, one of which includes a DVD. The album itself will contain 12 tracks and is produced by Seiji Kameda, whom some of you may know as the bassist from Shiina Ringo's Tokyo Jihen. I'm still incredibly sad that I didn't get a chance to see them perform at A-Kon back in 2004 prior to the break up. Even more so when I found out that they were using the footage from that performance for their PV of the single "Be Free." I guess I can only hope they'll head back to the states sometime soon.

Check out one of their acoustic performances from the beginning of the year after the jump.
