The 2D complex movement

Danny Choo made an interesting discovery on his dally otaku stroll though the internet. But before I get there let me just state that it is legal for gay couples to marry in Japan, so pretty much anyone can get married there. Yes, you probably already noticed a gapping hole in this statement. What about the otaku? Well, the time of the otaku is upon us, for there is a petition that will ask for a law to be made that will allow a human to be married to a two dimensional character, i.e. Dale North X Piccolo. Once it hits one million signatures it will be submitted to the government, which will then force the officials (in theory) to make it a law. The petition states:

"We don't have interest in the 3D world. If possible, I want to become the husband of a 2D character. Does not look like this matter can be solved with today's science and technology so at least make it legal to marry a 2D character. If this law is passed then I want to marry Asahina Mikuru..."

So if this law passes, how will it be implemented? Can only one person marry a particular character and that’s it? Would we have to stand in line by the court house and wait for the second this law passes so that I can nab Haruhi for myself? Once we are married do we have to right to watch the animators animate our wife/husband, and yell at them if they spend too long drawing his/her privates?

So hurry up and sign this petition, and tell us who you are going to marry first. I’m going to marry all the girls from Gravion, that’s if they allow polygamy.
