Become a true K-On! fan by buying Mio's bass guitar

An easy way to make people do things in Japan is by making an anime about it. Thusly, after the first couple episodes of K-On! people have already stared to cash in on this upcoming gold rush; like Amazon for example. Accoording to Canned Dogs, Amazon is selling a left-handed, 3 color sunburst Fender Precision bass on their site, which is exactly the same as the one Mio-chan uses in the anime. This might have nothing to do with the anime, but in the “Customers who bought this item also bought” section are filled with other K-On! merchandise. The single customer review states:

“This is the same model that the bassist Mio-chan uses in K-on. I’m right handed, but I bought the left handed version as it probably wouldn’t make a difference since I’m a complete beginner. I’m now trying to learn how to play the opening song. It’s probably not a waste of money to buy this if you’re a fan!”

I know you all are interested in buying this now, so I’ll just live the link here to the Amazon page. Don’t worry, I know you wanted to learn how to play an instrument before K-On! came out; it is just coincidence that you are learning now that there in an anime about it. If no one else will believe you, I will. It’s not like I started to play tennis, go, and football after watching certain nameless anime titles.

If you have no idea what K-On! is, check out the opening and ending after the jump, or listen to our podcast, podtoid-chan, that discusses the first episode!
