SMAP's Tsuyoshi Kusanagi arrested for public indecency

The ridiculously popular Japanese boy band SMAP needs no introduction, as most of you have probably heard at least one of their chart topping songs like "Sekai ni hitotsu dake no hana" somewhere or another. SMAP member Tsuyoshi Kusanagi is known for his "sensitive" personality and ability to speak Korean, and now he'll have one more talent to add to that list — public indecency.

The Asahi Shimbun reports that police received a call early Thursday morning (Wednesday afternoon Eastern Time) about a drunk man running around naked in Hinokicho Park in the Akasaka district of Tokyo. When the police arrived, they found Kusanagi naked and apparently drunk, and arrested him after he refused to follow the officers' directions to stop. A breathalyzer test showed Kusanagi's blood alcohol level to be 5 times the legal limit for driving.

This little incident probably isn't going to help Kusanagi's public image, so we'll have to see what his arrest means for him and the future of SMAP.
