Mikudayo is child's play in comparison

Sometimes there's just a figure so out there, that it's probably worth your attention--if you can stomach Shi-e Calne Ca. This Miku-derivative figure comes from the hit vocaloid music video "Bacterial Contamination" back in 2012. It's not exactly Miku, but Crypton officially recognizes Calne as a Vocaloid "sub character."

I think the pictures speak more than a thousand words each as to what kind of business Calne is about. And I probably want none of it. What it does mean is that Miku is okay with the macabre and the horrifying. Death and decay are okay subjects to sing about, or make figures out of. There are basically no bounds as to what people can do with Miku. And in some ways, Calne is beautiful in her own, unique ways. There's a pureness in the way Calne inspires both awe and fear. Still, if I had to pick, the nurse version is what I'd go for.

You can check out the original music video after the jump. If you want to see more pictures or find a site to preorder, Tomopop's got you covered. Maybe if the sales are good enough, we'll get a Figma treatment? Calne is modular right?
