Princess Jellyfish film announced

However it suffers from a severe lack of details.

I know there is a small but dedicated fanbase out there for Princess Jellyfish (Kuragehime). Both the original manga by Akiko Higashimura and the anime by Brain's Base for Noitamina were great versions of the story, and I'm a big fan, too. It looks like we'll be getting another version soon: the latest issue of Tsukuru reports that a Princess Jellyfish film is on the way. However, they neglect to mention an important detail -- whether it is a live-action or animated film.

For now I'd bet that it's probably a live-action film, but we really don't know at this point. I would prefer for it to be an anime continuation of the Brain's Base adaption, just because I feel it works better in animated/drawn form than live-action. While we're dreaming, I also still want to see the manga come out in the US, but I know that's a long shot, too. Maybe someday!
