Protect the walls: Attack on Titan Season 2 launches next Spring

It's time to grab our 3D maneuver gear

If you've been waiting patiently for the next season of Attack on Titan, then you'll be glad to hear that the show's team has confirmed that its sequel will premiere in Spring 2017.

The anime's staff made this announcement at an Attack Festival Reading and Live event that happened today. In light of this new, Attack on Titan's official Japanese Twitter page added an image for the new season that features the main cast facing off against the Colossal and the Armored Titans. That being said, this is definitely a sign that we'll get to see the events that lead to the group learning about the identity of these two foes finally animated.

Since I had fun with the anime's first season, I'm stoked over the fact that I'll get to see what happens after the Female Titan Arc next year. As we wait for this day to arrive, you can check out the staff listing for the show below.

To those who keep up with Attack on Titan, are you all excited about the show's second season premiering next Spring?
