Quickie: FUNi using the Synch Point dubs on FLCL

A lot of you have been asking questions about FUNi's release of FLCL. Well, one of your fears can be laid to rest: FUNimation confirmed that they'll be using the original Synch-Point dub, and won't record their own for the show. The classic dub that so many of you were introduced to will remain safe and sound.

Now that we've tackled that one, it's onto your other questions. We've asked FUNi about the quality of the Blu-ray release, and that point is still up in the air. So, they haven't decided if they'll just be upscaling the original DVDs, as they've done in the past with Samurai Champloo, or if they'll be getting the original masters from Japan to do a 720p/1080p print. We'll keep you updated.
