Rejoice, Bay Area fans: Junko Mizuno signing books at New People this Saturday


If you've been looking for an excuse to go to San Francisco's Japantown district, tomorrow would be a great time, to do so, as manga artist Junko Mizuno will be signing copies of her latest graphic novel at the NEW PEOPLE cultural center mall thing this Saturday, August 22nd, at 2:00PM.

Junko Mizuno is the designer behind such trippy works as Hell Babies, Cinderella-chan, Pure Trance, and the eyecatch art for the BBC program Japanorama. She'll be signing copies of her new book Fluffy Little Gigolo PELU, Volume 1. Published by Last Gasp, The book follows the adventures of PELU, a cute alien looking for a bride on Earth.
