Rejoice: Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX to release worldwide in May

Vocaloid fans are in for an amazing new year

It's been known for a good while that the latest Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai title for the 3DS was heading West, However, Sega surprised us with some amazing news, as Project Mirai DX hits stores worldwide during the month of May. As for the release date, Miku's making her first stop in North America on May 26, which'll be followed by a debut appearance in Japan and Korea on May 28. To finish off this wonderful performance, Europe's getting their share of the action on May 29.

While I still haven't fully hopped on the vocaloid bandwagon yet, Sega still deserves some props for releasing Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX in the major regions around the same time frame. Hopefully, this is a sign that the company might attempt something like this with future titles. For now, let's just celebrate the fact that vocaloid fans everywhere'll get to test their skills against Project Mirai DX's 48 songs during the same month. As we wait for May to arrive, you can take a look at the game's adorable screenshots in the section below.

On a different note, since I've experienced a few great vocaloid tunes in the past, I might try to check out the Project Diva titles in preparation for Project Mirai DX's May release. To those who're vocaloid fans around here, should I only play Project Diva F 2nd, or should I get the first game as well?
