Devil summoning in its artistic form

If there's one thing that I love about the Shin Megami Tensei series, it's the designs for the different demons present in each title. Thanks to the people at UDON, the artbook for Shin Megami Tensei IV hit North America yesterday.

With Yasushi Nirasawa's (Kamen Rider Blade and Den-O's Monster Designs) creature designs present in the book, I'm definitely planning to get it as another way to pay my respects to the guy.

Of course, my love for Keita Amemiya (the Garo franchise's Creator and Onimusha 2's Art) and Yoshihiro Nishimura's (Kamen Rider OOO and Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters' Monster Designs) art is another reason for me to check it out since they were part of the guest artist team.

Most importantly, we can't forget about Masayuki Doi's (Trauma Team and Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2's Art), designs, which is the book's main attraction.

The artbook will cost you $39.99 and it features 208 pages of content. Seeing that it features a couple interviews and goodies with the art, I'm certain that it'll keep us entertained while we wait for a certain major inevitable Atlus announcement.
