Rejoice: Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers gets an English release in Asia

Dreams really do come true

Remember all of those times that I've said that hell has frozen over? Well, it looks like the underworld is going through an ice age, as Bandai Namco Asia announced that Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers hits Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines this year in English. However, the PS4 version of the game is the only one that's heading there.

Even though the game's localization might get handled poorly (such as Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment's translation), it's still great to hear that the latest title in the franchise is getting localized, since the last Super Robot Wars game that got an official English translation was Endless Frontier. Hopefully, the trailer's inserted English text is a sign that it won't be too bad.

Since I enjoyed the Super Robot Wars series' take on its original characters, I can't wait to import it down the road. If The Moon Dwellers does well in Asia, let's hope that this could lead to more Super Robot Wars OG titles getting an English localization in the region.

To those of you love the Super Robot Wars series, are you all excited about this news?
