Second Taiko no Tatsujin 3DS game announced

Can't wait to import! Wait, what?

Taiko no Tatsujin is great. You may not know it, but there was once a time when these games, albeit with an altered soundtrack, actually made it out of Japan. Unfortunately for us, this stopped years ago, but Japan has continued to get the games ever since. In fact, the 3DS is about to get its second title in the drum-smashing series.

Unfortunately, unlike the three DS games, you won't be able to just import the games. That pesky region locking means that if you really want to play these two games, you'll have to buy a Japanese 3DS console. Not cool.

The new game in the series is called Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Katsu no Jikuu Daibouken (which roughly translates as Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure), and will be released on June 26th. More details as they come, but for now, there is one confirmed song that may be of interest. Is Guren no Yumiya, the first Attack on Titan opening, enough to make you splash out all that money?
