See Japanese future tech in these videos from CEATEC 2019!

From the land of tomorrow!

Cutting edge technology is what many out there would think when one thinks of Japan. While Japan isn’t quite the titan it once was when it comes to high tech toys for the average consumer, tthat innovation isn't quite gone just yet. At CEATEC 2019, that spirit of futuristic Japanese technology is still alive and well but it’s a bit more on selling tech to businesses than it is to the regular consumer.

CEATEC, or the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies, is an annual technology exhibition and conference at the Makuhari Messe convention center located in Chiba City. This yearly trade show features the latest and greatest that Japanese tech companies have to offer.

When I heard that such a convention existed, I looked up some videos to see what cool inventions might be in store for us in the future. So I gathered those few videos of the conference together so we can watch in awe as we slowly step into cyberpunk future promised to us by many 80's anime. Enjoy!

Pocket Now goes around on tour of the show to give us a brief of the cool stuff on display.

Isa does tech runs around the convention checking out the interesting curiosities and some remote contorl robot arms that would be good for cooking for your SO over long distances. Yes, it will be just for cooking and nothing more.

The Japan Times gives us a narrator-free video that could be ASMR for some of y'all to soak up the ambient sounds of a tech convention.
