Sentai licenses Engaged to the Unidentified

Because, why the hell not

Sentai Filmworks have once again thrown caution to the wind, having licensed yet another anime before it's even aired, namely Engaged to the Unidentified -- a 12-episode series based on a four-koma manga of the same name. A bit of a mouth-full, isn't it? The anime is supposedly a comedy about a typical high-school girl named Kobeni whose life gets filp-turned upside-down following the arrival of a mysterious man claiming to be her fiancé, and his sister who seems determined to make Kobeni the perfect wife. I imagine at this point, hilarity ensues.

As I mentioned, the series has yet to air, though the series will be simulcast on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Anime Network, and so on. The first episode will be available to stream on January 8th. Expect a home video release later this year.
