Sernia chibi almost makes up for Ladies vs. Butlers

0

I would like it to be known to posterity that my first choice for the title of this post was "Sernia Iori Flameheart Chibi figure almost makes up for Ladies vs. Butlers ABOMINATION", but such long titles are frowned upon.

This Dengenki Bunko pack-in chibi figure that Garrett Yim spotlighted in his new Chibi on the Run column is so adorable, I almost want to forgive Ladies vs. Butlers for its existence. I can't believe just how much better this design looks in 3D; in my opinion, the character looks strange on the show, but in this format, suddenly that huge drill-hair is actually cute.

In fact, this figure is SO CUTE I can't even associate it with Ladies vs. Butlers; I'm going to make up another series, and pretend that little Sernia here actually came from that. Hey, do you remember that great show Sernia Iori Flameheart: Chibi Tennis Princess? No? What kind of lame excuse for an otaku are you, anyway?

I have to admit, I am going to be on the lookout for other chibis from this series just to see if my level of DO WANT for this one is a fluke. Wouldn't it be deliciously ironic if I continued to hate the series, but was consumed with fiery passion for the chibis? That seems like the sort of thing that would happen to me.
