Shopping at Costco becomes a manga

Costco meets Manga

There's still so much going on at E3 it's hard to escape the gravitational pull towards writing about video games. But outside of the hot Los Angeles convention centre news is still happening, specifically doujin news regarding American stores landing in Japan.

The family friendly and bulk buy powerhouse Costco will be opening 20 different stores in Japan and to help the citizens through the Costco process, a 24-page doujin has been created by Mochi Heavy Industries. The manga Costco guide "Let's Go to Costco Wholesale" will help readers understand the store's membership system, pricing information, food product reviews and more. I'll also be expecting a detailed guide on how to mill around the free sample tables without looking like a complete tool.

Spicing up this dry manual is, of course, beautiful illustrations of girls as Costco workers and shoppers. If they don't have a walkthrough on how to mill around the free sample area without looking like a tool, I'll be thoroughly disappointed.
