Simulcast GET! Crunchyroll announces three winter titles

The Pilot's Love Song, Tonari No Seki-kun, and Nobunaga the Fool

It's that time of the season where Crunchyroll announces a deluge of anime that they've licensed for your streaming pleasure...and err, there's nothing erotic at all about that statement. It's all in your mind, kids.

So far today-- and I say "so far," because who knows if they're even done-- the big C has announced that it will be streaming Winter 2014 titles The Pilot's Love Song, Tonari No Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time, and Nobunaga The Fool. If the latter has you asking, "Is that the crazy show where warlord Oda Nobunaga is reincarnated as a gun?" the answer is no; you're thinking of Nobunagun, silly! Crunchyroll will be streaming the other Oda Nobunaga-themed show this season.

All these shows merited mentions in our Winter Season Preview, although the names have been spruced up a bit-- The Pilot's Love Song is a bit snappier than "A Love Song to a Certain Airship Pilot," which is how anibloggers had been referring to it up to now, and Seki-kun gets an (unnecessary?) subtitle. Since I signed up to cover both Pilot and Seki-kun, I'm pleased with this announcement; I can only hope that CR has started making their licensing decisions based on whatever makes my life easier. If that's the case, Wizard Barristers should be next.

Are any of you going to be watching these along with me? I'm really looking forward to Pilot and I have no idea why; maybe I'm hoping it will be like the flying-with-Galileo segments in Galilei Donna, only without the incest and timey-wimey nonsense.
