None that I can see from the screenshots and trailer (which you can see below) XSEED have given us, at least.
This here Wii game, Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces, will be based on the film adaptation of the original novels. That film adaptation was directed by Mamoru Oshii, who also handled Ghost in the Shell and Jin-Roh. This means that there must be at least one scene showing characters just staring off into space (or at each other) silently, and it must last for at least ten seconds.
Maybe it'll be in the anime cutscenes. After all, most of Innocent Aces' game time will be spent looking at the backside of a spiffy fighter plane, blowing all hell out of enemy pilots. One would probably not have too much time to spare staring out the window at some invisible point in the distance, obviously deep in thought. I will be severely disappointed if that dramatic staring doesn't happen at all, though.
Come on, Project Aces! You developed the Ace Combat games, and are thus experts at rendering airborne melodrama! Don't let me down, because I still haven't forgiven you or Namco for not yet porting Ace Combat 6 to the PS3.
