Sound the Alarm: Ray Gigant to wreck havoc in the West next Spring

No one is safe

Now here's something that came from the left field. Acttil has announced that they're bringing Bandai Namco's dungeon crawler RPG, Ray Gigant, to North America and Europe. Compare to most titles of its genre, one neat thing about the game is that players get to fight ginormous bosses that resemble legendary creatures. However, these large monsters are actually aliens that are trying to invade our world.

Other than that, Ray Gigant has a rhythm game-like mechanic that lets players deal massive damage to their foes. This is thanks to the Yorigami power, which is a key ability in stopping these monstrosities. Also, the main character Ichiya accidentally destroyed a city while defeating a Gigant, the game's huge adversaries, with this power. With three scenarios that offer a different viewpoint on the crisis, I could see it being a neat experience.

Anyway, Ray Gigant heads West in Spring 2016 for the PS Vita as a digital release. Of course, the game will work with the PS TV, so folks who want to play it on the big screen won't be left out. As we wait for the next big update to stomp our area, you can check out the image from the title in the gallery below.
