Streaming GET! Rurouni Kenshin is now on Crunchyroll

The wandering samurai has found a new place to stay

I don't know if this is just a coincident, but I find it a bit too convenient for Crunchyroll to announce that they're streaming the Rurouni Kenshin anime during the same week that Shishio's design for the next live-action Rurouni Kenshin film was revealed. If anything, we should all rejoice over the fact that we're getting a great week of Kenshin related news! Of course, there will be plenty of "oros" to go around.

Since all 94 episodes of the anime are now streaming on Crunchyroll, I can finally watch the arc that take place after the Kyoto Chapter. Considering that the last part of the anime is all filler, it might be best for me to avoid the show's final arc.

As a heads up, Crunchyroll's complete stream of the series is based on Bang Zoom's dub, and the subbed version only contains four episodes. However, Crunchyroll plans to release the rest of the subbed episodes in the future. The episode are only open to Premium members, so regular viewers will have to wait until January before they can pick up the reverse-blade sword.

Before you wander into Rurouni Kenshin's story, it's worth pointing out that the series is only available to people in N.A., the U.K., Ireland, and South Africa. That being said, I hope that Crunchyroll will expand the show's stream to the rest of their territories in the future-- fingers crossed.

To those who have watched the Kenshin anime, is the last arc worth checking out?
