Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale is augmenting reality in US theaters

Things get real--- AGAIN!

A new movie based on the hit franchise about people who love messing around with technology that might kill them, Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, will arrive in select US theaters on March 9, 2017. Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale is about the new hot thing that is sweeping the world which is ARMMO (Augmented Reality Massively Multiplayer Online) game, "Ordinal Scale", which blends the real world with a virtual world where cool stuff happens with swords and magic. If you've heard of Sword Art Online, you know where this is going, things go wrong and become too real and it's up to the main character Kirito and his girlfriends to save the day.

The trailer is available above for those interested and it looks pretty good with the new costumes and nicely done animation. While I am not the biggest SAO fan, but I do love those movies based on these action shows because they tend to be the action spectacles they promise to be but in can be seen less than two hours. The trailer above also mentions that there will be a live action Sword Art Online movie from Hollywood in the works? I am interested in seeing Asuna baby-chan in real life.

Check out more details on the movie at the official SAO site
