T.M. Revolution to perform themes for Disk Wars: The Avengers

Unfortunately, not with Abingdon Boys School

Those of who you who've been eagerly awaiting Marvel's latest foray into the world of animation with Toei's Disk Wars: The Avengers may be pleased to learn that Takanori Nishikawa, more commonly known by his stage name T.M. Revolution, will be contributing the opening and ending themes for the upcoming series. Though their previous attempts have left much to be desired, we can at least rest assured that, at least this time around, the music won't suck. However, I can't really vouch for the anime itself. The one teaser I've caught showed little more than a clip of Iron Man blasting off against a black background -- hardly what I'd call compelling. At the very least, it seemed well-animated.

Still, the addition of T.M. Revolution is a bit of a plus. I'd much rather hear more from his side-project, Abingdon Boys School, but I'm willing to settle. The opening will feature the song "Tsukiyabureru -Time to SMASH!" and the ending will feature a track titled "Thread of fate."  As of yet, no release date for the singles have been announced. Disk Wars: The Avengers is slated to premiere next month -- let's just hope it's good.
