Ten Years After...Please Teacher

[Ten Years After is a new monthly feature where I'll be taking a look at shows that turn ten years old in 2012.]

2012 is a momentous year for me. This marks the tenth anniversary since I got into the amazingly bizarre world of anime and manga. Besides playing video games and taking photographs, it's the longest I've ever stuck to something in my life. Since I'm feeling a touch sentimental, I decided to go back and look at shows that a younger and beardless me would've been watching. Expect to see a new classic discussed every month, with the first being a personal favorite of mine, Bandai's Please Teacher.

Does its story still hold up to modern standards? Has ten years of animation improvements rendered it unwatchable? Is the main character still hot in a world with characters like Yoko, Sena and Mio? Well, you'll have to hit the jump and watch the video to find out!
