The Bestsellers: Naruto still can't be stopped

The top charts for the week of April 18th

Welcome to The Bestsellers List, where we highlight the bestselling music and movies in Japan, along with the best of the American manga sales each week.

This week's manga charts prove that Naruto is still one of the most popular manga out there, beating out Bleach, Soul Eater, and Attack on Titan. As the weeks roll on, Naruto will have a tough time battling against other popular titles, but it will likely hold strong against Attack on Titan as the number of titles popping out all at once likely fatigue buyers.

The Japanese box office held steady this week, with very little change. People are still going out in droves to see Frozen, but everything else pales in comparison to that. On the Oricon charts, Nogizaka46's latest single still holds strong, sitting at #3 after debuting last week.

Let's take a look at the top titles from each list:

Oricon's Top Three Songs

1. Yes We Are by SMAP
2. Honou to Mori no Carnival by Sekai no Owari
3. Kizuitara Kataomoi by Nogizaka46

New York Times' Top Three Manga

1. Naruto Vol. 65
2. Bleach Vol. 60
3. Soul Eater Vol. 19

Japan's Top Three Box Office Films
