The Meat Guy brings high-quality meats to Japan

0

The Meat Guy is an American living in Japan. He's a mega-butcher, if you will. This guy set up shop about a decade ago, selling super high quality meats to Japanese businesses and individuals. He's still doing so today, even providing rare meats and even western cuts. He now ships all over Japan, and his cuts and quality have become popular. He'll even deliver a whole cow if you wish.

His current selection even lists kangaroo, ostrich, and crocodile meat. Horse meat cubes? No problem. He's also got camel back slices (above left) and wild boar in stock. Croc shanks, anyone? Gross! Where is this guy getting all of these meats?

Meat Guy seems to be doing pretty well for himself. His About page says that he started with $1,000 back in 1997. Now he makes about $1.5 million a year supplying Japan with strange proteins.

Living the dream, this one.
