The original Garo series makes its North American debut on HIDIVE

Mankind has been given hope

As we wait for Kraken Releasing to release the original Garo series on home video in North America, the late-night tokusatsu program has appeared on HIDIVE, a new streaming service that mostly features Sentai Filmworks titles, last Friday.

The show's first four episodes are on the service for premium users, and you can expect a new one every Friday. However, you'll have to pay $3.99 a month to use HIDIVE, which isn't too bad.

Since the anime got to introduce people to the premise of people in wolf-themed armors fighting against demons called Horrors, now they'll get to see the 2005 show that started this franchise as they see the Golden Knight in modern times.

According to Tokusatsu Network, the show's first box set hits Blu-ray on Oct. 17, which sounds like another perfect thing to watch during the month of All Hallows' Eve.
