This fun trend in photography is jump-shot Dragon Ball

It's great the hilarious and awesome things you can do just by getting your timing right. The cool results this time come straight from schoolgirls all over Glorious Nippon getting into the habit of "fake Dragon Ball" photography, taking pictures of each other mid-motion, freezing moments of drama and Super Saiyan power for all time.

Exactly what brought on this sudden respect for Dragon Ball, it's likely partly due to the upcoming release of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods, with a dash of artist Natsumi Hayashi's own "Floating" photo series.

However the trend was born, that doesn't change the fact that a bunch of the shots look hilarious and awesome. Check them out in the gallery below!
