Tiger & Bunny step up to fight...languages?

Enjoy your education with a refreshing glass of Pepsi Nex.

There are plenty of weird and wonderful guides in the English language that aim to teach you Japanese. This in mind, it doesn't seem at all strange that Japan's anime industry would want to try something similar for teaching English, and it seems it finally has.

Tiger & Bunny – English Of Heroes is a DVD-release containing the first episode of Tiger & Bunny with an English dub, as well as printed scripts for both the English and Japanese audio. This means that those who really want to better their English skills can compare the two while they watch the episode.

Will this really take off? Of course it will, this is Tiger & Bunny we're talking about. However, it remains to be seen how effective it'll be at actually teaching a language, especially one as complex as English. What would really be interesting is whether this will work just as well the other way around. Any English speakers want to try and learn Japanese this way?
